At Abrafix DIY, we want to give our customers the most enjoyable shopping experience, one that will keep them coming back to our store time and time again. That’s why we believe that our store policies should be fair, clear and transparent. Below you’ll find a list of all our policies. Payment / Delivery
We accept payment via credit card or Paypal - we can accept telephone payments over the phone during normal working hours and you will receive a card receipt with your package, we also use Paypal clearing services, if you do not have an account, continue to select the paypal option and use the pay with card oprion on the Paypal screen.
We are also able to accept card payment over the phone - email your contact telephone number to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will call you to take payment.
All items include free delivery within the UK and are usually despatched within 3 working days via Royal Mail. Heavier items (e.g. bulk kitchden door handles) may incur a courier surcharge if sending to NI and highlands & islands. You will be notified if there is a surcharge with an option to cancel. Please note - wherever possible we will not charge carriage - if in doubt please contact us for verification. This does not affect England & Wales addresses - all carriage to England & Wales is free. We do not ship to international addresses - this is a 'uk only' serviced website.

We treat your privacy with the utmost respect.
When you provide us with personal information such as your name, email address contact details or payment details you do so for the purposes of communicating with us. We do not rent or sell this information to other companies - in fact we will never share these details with anybody outside Abrafix.
If you request information or place an order with us you are added to our mailing list and may receive information from us on an ongoing basis. Our systems also collect non personal information about what you are looking at and how you are using our business. This information is used to make buying from us easier.
The Internet is not secure, however we have put in place various security procedures to make it as secure as possible. All of the forms which gather or display personal information on our site are protected by a mechanism called SSL. Firewalls are used to block unauthorised access to our servers which are themselves located in a secure location.

Terms of Business
We are Abrafix DIY, 134b Weeland Road, Sharlston Common, Wakefield. WF4 1DD. 0845 6890145. When you (the person named on the order) place an order with us we do business together under the following terms:
We offer goods for sale through our website www.abrafix.co.uk. Our prices vary from time to time and printed material such catalogues or advertisements will always show our best prices at the time of printing. During the valid period of a catalogue we may offer things at a lower price. This could be a special offer or just an everyday price cut. We do not ship to international addresses - this is a 'uk only' serviced website.
All of our goods are offered to you on a payment with order basis. Your payment is due to us at time of ordering and is accepted by most credit cards, debit cards or by cheque. We will only accept your order if it is accompanied by payment in full.
3. Receiving Orders
Most small items are delivered via Royal Mail standard post, larger orders are sent via UK Mail courier. Unless we have your written authorisation, we will always require an authorised signature if delivering goods to you via courier.
We aim to keep sufficient stock so that we never run out. However on occasions of unexpectedly high demand we may unfortunately run out. If this happens we may delay dispatch of your order while new stock is obtained. If we are expecting a longer delay we will use the information you have provided with your order to keep you informed of progress. You may contact us at any time to check on the progress of your order.
If you wish to cancel your order you may do so at any time until we dispatch it. Your order will be packed and dispatched in a very short period. If you wish to cancel the order you should do so by email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will confirm that it has been possible.
6. Damaged Goods / Returns
If you have received a faulty or incorrect item, you must notify us within seven days of receipt, if it is our fault we will then arrange to replace the item within the usual timescales as indicated in the terms of delivery. For items returned to us for any reason, you will be responsible for all shipping costs incurred - including original shipping costs incurred by us. We take no responsibility for items purchased 'in error' by the purchaser.
Return items must be in original condition and packaging as supplied. Damaged deliveries must be reported within 24 hrs.
7. 12 Month Guarantee
If any of the goods we supply fails to perform satisfactorily due to faulty materials or workmanship you may contact us for a refund or to arrange repair (at our discretion) at any time in the first 12 months. All we ask is that you provide an explanation of the problem and details of the purchase.
8. Our Mistakes
We are constantly updating our products prices and offers. We are confident of our technology and staff but acknowledge that human error is always possible. If goods are offered for sale incorrectly we will always try to honour our offer. There may be rare circumstances where it is not possible for us to do so. In such cases we will contact you and explain the situation, if we are unable to resolve the matter fairly with you we reserve the right to refuse your order and refund any payment you may have made.
9. Unforeseen Circumstances
Where things like strikes, wars, acts of terrorism or even small things like power cuts interfere in our business with you, we will do our best to keep things going. We shall have no liability to you for any failure which is due to such unforeseen circumstances or any other situation outside our control.
10. Age Restrictions
Age restrictions apply to the supply of some goods. By ordering these goods you confirm that you are over 18 and that the person receiving the delivery is also over 18.
Nothing in these Terms of Business is intended to affect your statutory rights or to limit our liability for death, personal injury or fraudulent misrepresentation resulting from our negligence, or any other liability which may not otherwise be limited or excluded under applicable law (including our liability under section 2(3) of the Consumer Protection Act 1987). We will not compensate for delivery delays or failures that are outside our control unless you have requested a premium delivery option. In these circumstances our liability to you will be limited to a refund of the delivery charges you have paid. We will not be liable to you for any business losses and/or losses to non-consumers or for any losses which were not foreseeable to both parties at the time you purchased the goods.
These terms of business will be interpreted and adjudicated under English law.
